Hi, I’m Lauren Lyman (Ms. Lauren)! 🌿🦉

I founded Our Wild Learning (OWL) in 2025 with a vision to nurture meaningful connections between children and the natural world. Rooted in forest school principles, OWL offers child-led, outdoor learning experiences that honor nature as an essential teacher.

I bring 11 years of experience across Montessori, forest school education (FSTI certified forest school teacher), nannying, and swim instruction, and I’m passionate about facilitating a welcoming, safe, and wonder-filled outdoor learning environment for children walking to age 6 and their families. I hold current infant and child CPR and First Aid certification, along with a Level 2 background check with the City of St. Pete.

Nature has long been a joyful and grounding part of my life, and I’m grateful to share that love through Our Wild Learning. I live in St. Pete with my husband and our sweet cat, Leon. In my free time, I’ll likely be tending to my many plant babies or on a nature adventure of some kind.
