My name is Brittany, and I’m the mom to one nature-loving boy who adores Ms. Lauren’s classes. We moved to Florida a little over a year ago from Georgia, but I’ve enjoyed living in several states across the US. I have over a decade of experience in outdoor education, primarily in overnight and summer day camps. Most recently, I worked with Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta to develop trainings to encourage troops to get outside, whether it was their first outdoor experience or encouraging them to extend their adventures with trainings in Wilderness First Aid.  I’m passionate about the development and growth opportunities that unstructured play, collaborative learning, and spending time outdoors provides children. I’m excited to be a part of this learning community as a volunteer.
